Dell Security Management Server Virtual 會自動執行夜間備份。備份位置會根據 Dell Security Management Server Virtual 的版本而有所不同。備份位於：

/opt/dell/vsftpd/files/backups

高可用性
Dell Data Security Management Server 不支援主動/主動的冗餘方法。強烈建議只使用單一後端伺服器，並遵守建議的災難回復規劃。由於金鑰儲存在本機端點的特性，因此不需要隨時可用性。
對於需要備援的組織，Dell 資料安全性管理伺服器支援就地熱冷式伺服器。
Dell Security Management Server SQL 叢集化
使用 Dell Security Management Server 可以選擇使用 SQL 叢集。在此組態中，配置 Dell Security Management Server 應設定為使用 SQL 叢集 IP 或主機名稱。
網路流量
端點流量可分配至前端伺服器和後端伺服器之間。或者，也可以在非軍事區流量 （DMZ） 中放置多個前端伺服器，以透過網際網路啟動端點和發佈原則至端點。
