Symptoms

XPS- og Precision-computere, der kører Ubuntu Linux, kan muligvis ikke starte umiddelbart efter udskiftning af bundkortet eller gendannelse af BIOS-standardindstillingerne. Dette problem kan også opstå, når du kører en BIOS-opdatering fra Ubuntu/Canonical, hvilket resulterer i fejlmeddelelsen "Ingen startenhed blev fundet".

Cause

Årsagen til dette er, at BIOS-standardindstillingen for SATA-handling (Serial AT Attachment) i disse computere er RAID TIL. Derfor er udskiftningsbundkort indstillet til BIOS som standard for SATA-drift af RAID On. Opdatering af BIOS eller nulstilling af BIOS til "standard" nulstiller også SATA-handlingen til RAID Til. Denne standardindstilling for RAID til forhindrer Ubuntu Linux i at registrere harddisken.

Ubuntu Linux-systemer kræver, at SATA-handlingen er indstillet til Advance Host Controller Interface (AHCI). Hvis du ændrer denne indstilling tilbage til AHCI, kan computeren starte som normalt ved at registrere harddisken korrekt igen.

Resolution

Hvis startindstillingerne blev slettet, skal de genoprettes manuelt med følgende trin:
  1. I BIOS skal du gå til Systemkonfiguration, SATA-drift og aktivere AHCI. Dette gør det muligt at se drevet i Ubuntu- og Ubuntu-installationsprogrammer.
  2. Gå til Generelt, Startrækkefølge, og vælg Tilføj startindstilling.
  3. Under Filnavn skal du klikke på knappen til højre for at åbne vinduet EFI Boot Selection .
  4. Vinduet EFI Boot Selection er opdelt i to sektioner, mapper og filer. Under Directories skal du klikke på efi, Ubuntu.
  5. Under Filer skal du klikke på shimx64.efi klik derefter på OK, og klik derefter på OK igen.

  6. Skriv UBUNTU i feltet Navn på startindstilling :

    SLN309446_en_US__2ubuntu-EFI-start-2-2

  7. Ryd alle andre startindstillinger for at sikre, at vores nye startindstilling er den eneste, der er valgt.
  8. Klik på Anvend og derefter på OK for at gemme ændringerne, og klik derefter på Afslut for at genstarte computeren.
