Symptoms
Gen3 EX3000 racks in configuraties met één knooppunt hebben twee expanders per knooppunt. Elke Expander heeft zijn eigen firmwareversies. Dit KB-artikel is geschreven om een mogelijke firmware-mismatch tussen de twee Expander-componenten in sommige EX3000-racks aan te pakken.
Cause
Sommige Gen3 EX3000-racks werden geleverd met verschillende Expander-firmwareversies.
Resolution
- Dell Technologies neemt proactief contact op met getroffen klanten om de mismatch van de Expander-firmware aan te pakken en de activiteit te plannen.
- Dell Services, Externe, Proactieve teams of teams in het veld voeren de oplossing uit.
- De oplossing bestaat uit het overbrengen van de twee Expanders naar dezelfde firmwareversie.
- Resolutie duurt ongeveer één uur per knooppunt. De resolutie wordt knooppunt voor knooppunt uitgevoerd om downtime te voorkomen.
