Password Requirements
The following are the password requirements for a VNXe system:- Passwords must be 8 to 40 characters in length and cannot contain spaces.
- Passwords must include mixed case, a number, and a special character from this list:
- When changing a password, you cannot reuse any of the last 3 passwords.
- Password policy has to be met
- Password policy cannot be changed on the VNXe series.
VNXe has two default users: admin and service. They are changed in two different locations; if you have a policy requirement to update passwords, it is advisable that both account passwords are changed.
