SupportAssist App Flickers When Dragged to External Display

Symptoms
The SupportAssist app screen flickers or flashes when it is dragged to an external display.
Affected Platforms:
- Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255
Cause
SupportAssist is scaled based on the computers resolution when launched and when the app window resizes. Multiple resize events trigger the flickering issue.
Resolution
Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
- Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
- Connect the AC adapter.
Updating to SupportAssist version 5.0.1 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install SupportAssist, refer to SupportAssist for Home PCs.
