Avamar: Como alterar a senha em um nó acelerador do NDMP

Symptoms

Use os procedimentos padrão do Linux/UNIX para alterar senhas em aceleradores NDMP.

Os scanners de segurança podem identificar as senhas no acelerador NDMP do Avamar como precisando ser alterada.
Um bom procedimento de segurança sugere alterar a senha root periodicamente.

Cause

A senha de root deve ser alterada.
 

Resolution

Para alterar a senha de admin ou root no nó NDMP do Avamar, há duas opções.

  1. Se o nó acelerador for encontrado no arquivo probe.xml do Avamar Server, siga o método padrão para alterar senhas em um servidor Avamar. Consulte a seção "change-passwords" no Guia do Avamar Administrator.
  2. Se o nó acelerador não for encontrado no arquivo probe.xml do Avamar Server, o comando padrão passwd do Linux/UNIX poderá ser usado. 
root@accelerator:~/#: /usr/local/avamar/bin/passwd root

NOTE:
It is a good idea to have a second putty session to the Avamar NDMP accelerator
logged in as root.

Attempt to login to root on the terminal you changed the password on.  NOT on the second putty session to the NDMP accelerator.  If the new password works, you are done.
If it fails, you have the second putty session open with root user so you can change the password for root again.  Don't use this terminal to test your login.

Additional Information

Para verificar se o nó acelerador é encontrado no arquivo de probe do Avamar Server, execute no nó do utilitário "nodedb print".
