De eindgebruiker merkt dat Advanced Threat Prevention niet is geactiveerd en controleert de DellAgent-logbestanden onder:

C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection

U ziet de volgende foutmelding:

Resolution

Voorzichtigheid: Voer deze stappen alleen uit als dit precies de foutmelding is die u ziet, omdat dit nadelige gevolgen kan hebben als dit niet het probleem is.
Opmerking: Voer de volgende opdrachten uit vanaf een opdrachtprompt met verhoogde bevoegdheid.

Voer deze opdracht uit om de WMI-repository te controleren:

winmgmt /verifyrepository

Als deze inconsistent blijkt te zijn, voert u deze opdracht uit:

winmgmt /salvagerepository

Klik met de rechtermuisknop op het pictogram Dell Data Security in het systeemvak en selecteer Controleren op beleidsupdates. De agent registreert zich en na een paar minuten wordt Advanced Threat Prevention groen.
