Symptoms

  • Il pacchetto server NetWorker Web User Interface (NWUI) è installato in un sistema in cluster.
  • I servizi NWUI non si avviano in modo intermittente.
  • Quando si tenta di accedere o accedere a NWUI, vengono visualizzati errori di autenticazione inaspettati.
  • NWUI genera errori e avvisi imprevisti durante l'esecuzione di attività di amministrazione all'interno dell'interfaccia utente.
  • NetWorker Cluster Integration Guide non fornisce dettagli sulla configurazione dell'interfaccia utente NWUI in un'ambiente cluster.

Cause

NetWorker Web User Interface (NWUI) e NetWorker Management Console (NMC) non sono supportati nelle installazioni cluster. Il documento NetWorker Cluster Integration Guide indica quanto segue:

  • NMC e NWUI devono sempre essere utilizzati come applicazioni standalone. Poiché NMC o NWUI non è compatibile con il cluster o non dispone di high availability, deve quindi essere installato nel nodo non cluster.
  • NMC o NWUI deve essere configurato con l'IP del cluster come IP del server di autenticazione.

Resolution

Il server NetWorker Web User Interface (NWUI) e il server NetWorker Management Console (NMC) devono essere installati su un server standalone separato.
