  • 引擎 ID 唯一标识每个 SNMPv3 实体，无论是 SNMP 代理还是 SNMP 管理器。 
  • ID 的唯一性对于安全目的至关重要，请记住，与前代产品相比，SNMPv3 增加了安全功能。 
  • 引擎 ID 用于生成安全参数，它有助于确保通信确实与正确的设备进行。 
  • 如果没有唯一的引擎 ID，则可能会出现安全漏洞或通信不畅。


默认情况下，引擎 ID 基于设备的 MAC 地址，并且是 SNMP v3 通信的一部分。
但是，在执行 SNMP 通道创建时定义自定义“引擎 ID”，并检查通信是否更安全。
SnmpEngineID 文本约定 [RFC3411] 定义 snmpEngineID 值的长度必须介于 5 到 32 个八位字节之间，任何八位字节的值都由两个十六进制数字指定。

使用“引擎 ID”创建 SNMP 通道的命令： 

isi event channels create snmpchannel snmp --host=<snmp-receiver.example.com> --
snmp-auth-password=<string> --snmp-security-name=<string> --snmp-priv-password=<string>
--snmp-engine-id=<string>
