Symptoms
The icons in the taskbar may blink when connecting both displays to onboard graphic ports or add-on graphic card ports.
Affected Platforms:
- Inspiron 3020 Desktop
- Vostro 3020 Small Desktop
- Vostro 3020 Tower Desktop
Affected Operating System:
- Windows 11 22H2
Cause
Windows 11 22H2 enables the Multi-Plane Overlay (MPO) by default which causes this issue.
Resolution
There is no functionality impact. The taskbar can still work. Sign out and sign in again or reboot the computer to fix the issue.
