Dell 2-in-1's on tablet mode won't bypass the secure sign-on screen

Dell 2-in-1 Notebook owners have reported that they can't bypass Windows secure sign-on (Control + Alt + Delete) when they are in tablet mode. They have to unfold the unit into Notebook mode and use the keyboard to sign in.
Note: This is the system working as designed.
When you fold your 2-in-1 system into tablet mode, both the keyboard and the touchpad are automatically disabled. You can find out more about Table mode in Windows 10 in the following article:
Note: Dell's recommended best practices would be to use Slide to Unlock instead of secure sign-on or continue to use the system keyboard depending on your requirements.
