Delay in availability of the Dell Audio Application in the China region

 

The Dell Audio application is not available for download through the iPhone Operating System (iOS) or Android App stores in the China region during 2024.

Cause

Regulations in China means that any application deploying in the China region on the iOS or Android app store during 2024 requires new registration and certification.

Dell Audio Application:

  • Dell Audio is a mobile application for Dell Wireless Headsets. The application can personalize and enable various headset features. This application supports:
    • Dell Pro Wireless Headset (WL3024)
    • Dell Pro Plus Wireless ANC Headset (WL5024)

Resolution

  • The Dell Audio Application is now downloadable on any iOS mobile device in the China region since April 15, 2024.
  • The Dell Audio Application is now downloadable on any Android mobile devices in the China region since April 24, 2024. (Using the Tencent Store.)
Note: The Dell Peripheral Manager (DPeM) Application can manage your headset settings and is downloadable. The audio settings on your headset can be changed using DPeM.
