NetWorker REST API arayüzü, NetWorker veri koruması hizmetine programlı olarak erişmek için kullanılıyor.  NetWorker Kimlik Doğrulama Hizmeti (authc) uzak bir NetWorker Sunucusunda yapılandırıldığından NetWorker REST API isteğinin kimlik doğrulama bilgilerini içermesi gerekir.  NetWorker REST API v3 ve daha yeni arayüzleri, özel bir üst bilgiye sahip kimlik doğrulama sunucusunu içerebilir.  Anahtar değeri, authc sunucusu IP adresini veya tam nitelikli etki alanı adını (FQDN) ve authc bağlantı noktasını (varsayılan=9090) sağlamalıdır:
