L’interface de l’API REST NetWorker est utilisée pour accéder par programmation au service de protection des données NetWorker. Le NetWorker Authentication Service (authc) étant configuré sur un NetWorker Server distant, la demande d’API REST NetWorker doit inclure les informations d’authentification. L’interface NetWorker REST API v3 et les versions ultérieures peuvent inclure le serveur authc avec un en-tête personnalisé. La valeur de clé doit fournir l’adresse IP du serveur authc ou le nom de domaine complet (FQDN) et le port authc (par défaut = 9090) :
L’exemple suivant d’un client API illustre l’utilisation de cet en-tête pour indiquer à l’API Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) d’utiliser l’hôte spécifié dans l’en-tête pour l’autorisation, au lieu de l’hôte spécifié dans l’URI.
