NetWorker REST API-grensesnittet brukes til å få programmatisk tilgang til NetWorker-databeskyttelsestjenesten.  NetWorker Authentication Service (authc) er konfigurert på en ekstern NetWorker-server, så NetWorker REST API-forespørselen må inneholde autorisasjonsinformasjon.  NetWorker REST API v3-grensesnittet og nyere kan inkludere authc-serveren med en egendefinert topptekst.  Nøkkelverdien skal gi IP-adressen for authc-serveren eller det fullstendige domenenavnet (FQDN) og autoritetsporten (default=9090):
