Symptoms

Symptom 1
After upgrading VxRail 8.x to 9.1.x, the following alarms may appear in vCenter:

VXR034018 – Failed to enable Remote Connectivity
VXR034020 – Remote Connectivity Lost

Symptom 2
RED alarm 'VXR034020' present in the vCenter portal.

Cause

The remote support connector on the VxRail side has lost the connection with the remote support backend.

Resolution

  1. Try to reenable the remote support connectivity.
  2. See KB article VxRail: Plugin Connectivity Page in vCenter - Configure Tab Unable to Load to delete ese_values_key from the lockbox and retry.

If the issue is still present after troubleshooting, contact Dell Technical Support or your Authorized Service Representative.
