Endre tidssonen som brukes av vProxy-verktøyet med Linux-kommandoen: 
timedatectl
  1. Koble til vProxy-verktøyet via SSH, og logg på som administratorbruker.
  2. Bytt til rotbrukerkontoen :
sudo su - 
  1. Skriv inn kommandoen nedenfor for å få de gjeldende innstillingene for tidssone:
timedatectl

Eksempel:

vproxy01:~ # timedatectl
      Local time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58 UTC
  Universal time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58 UTC
        RTC time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:06:58
       Time zone: UTC (UTC, +0000)
 Network time on: no
NTP synchronized: no
 RTC in local TZ: no
  1. Skriv inn følgende kommando for å vise hvilken tidssone systemets "localtime" er symlinket til:
ls -l /etc/localtime

Eksempel:

vproxy01:~ # ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Jan 12 18:05 /etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC
  1. Skriv inn følgende kommando for å få en liste over tilgjengelige tidssoneinnstillinger:
timedatectl list-timezones
  1. Skriv inn kommandoen nedenfor for å koble tiltidssonen:
timedatectl set-timezone ZONE

vproxy01:~ # timedatectl set-timezone America/New_York
vproxy01:~ #
  1. Bekreft endringene med kommandoene fra trinn 3 og 4:
vproxy01:~ # timedatectl
      Local time: Fri 2024-01-12 13:11:39 EST
  Universal time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:11:39 UTC
        RTC time: Fri 2024-01-12 18:11:39
       Time zone: America/New_York (EST, -0500)
 Network time on: no
NTP synchronized: yes
 RTC in local TZ: no
vproxy01:~ # ls -l /etc/localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 38 Jan 12 13:10 /etc/localtime -> ../usr/share/zoneinfo/America/New_York
  1. Start verktøyet på nytt når det ikke er noen sikkerhetskopierings- eller gjenopprettingsoppgaver som kjører på vProxy:
reboot
