NetWorker: Le notifiche e-mail smettono di funzionare su Red Hat 8 Server dopo l'aggiornamento alla versione 19.10

• Il server NetWorker è installato su Red Hat 8:

• NetWorker 19.10 è stato installato sul sistema Red Hat 8.x. Può trattarsi di una nuova installazione o di un aggiornamento da una versione precedente di NetWorker.
• Le risorse NetWorker Protection Policy sono state configurate utilizzando Linux mail oppure mailx :

• Prima dell'aggiornamento di NetWorker, le notifiche e-mail venivano ricevute senza problemi.
• Vengono ricevuti anche messaggi e-mail inviati dalla riga di comando del server NetWorker:

Uno dei miglioramenti introdotti in NetWorker 19.10 riguardava SSL. NetWorker fornisce una propria libreria SSL che viene esportata nel networkerrc file:

La versione di mail su Red Hat 8.x contiene una libreria SSL che include SSv3:

NetWorker 19.10 ha rimosso SSLv3 dalla relativa libreria in quanto rappresenta una potenziale vulnerabilità della sicurezza ed è sfruttabile:

Il pacchetto mail utilizza una libssl libreria meno recente. Il problema riguarda il pacchetto mail; quindi al di fuori di NetWorker.

Opzione 1:

L'amministratore di Exchange o di posta elettronica può esaminare la configurazione dei server di posta e verificare se sono disponibili opzioni per disabilitare SSLv3 a favore di TLS 1.2.

Opzione 2:

Una correzione per questo deve essere rilasciata in Linux mail oppure mailx pacco. La posta deve essere aggiornata per includere un libssl che non utilizza SSLv3. Al momento della stesura di questo articolo della KB, l'unico pacchetto mail elencato per Red Hat 8.x è mailx-12.5-29.el8.x86_64, rilasciato nel 2019. Tale problema interessa questo pacchetto mail. 

Confermare il pacchetto mail installato:

Soluzione alternativa:

1. Aggiornare /opt/nsr/admin/networkerrc per contenere OS_LIBS=/lib64 in the NetWorker environment variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Esempio:

2. Riavviare NetWorker:

systemctl restart networker

In Red Hat 9.x, un pacchetto diverso fornisce mail/mailx che utilizza una libssl libreria meno recente. Questa libreria più recente non utilizza SSLv3. Il problema non è riproducibile e non è stata necessaria alcuna soluzione alternativa con NetWorker 19.10 su Red Hat 9.x.
