Symptoms

NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) 整合是透過 vProxy 裝置進行設定。特定的虛擬機器 （VM） 總是失敗。在 NetWorker Management Console （NMC） 中檢閱完整記錄時，顯示 VM 快照建立失敗，因為其 SCSI 控制器已啟用匯流排共用。當虛擬機器具有原始裝置對應 （RDM） 磁碟區時，此組態很常見。

Cause

此故障是因為 VM 組態的 VMware 快照限制所導致。下列虛擬機器組態不支援 VMware 快照：

  • 巴士共用
  • PCI 直通 （PCI vSphere Direct Path I/O） 裝置
  • 原始磁碟、實體模式 RDM 或 iSCSI 啟動器磁碟
  • 已開啟具有獨立磁碟的 VM 電源

如果 VM 設定了匯流排共用，且需要執行 vProxy 備份，則必須停用 VM 的匯流排共用。
