The Dell Display Manager (DDM) fails to detect the monitor when launched. The DDM icon sitting on the status bar shows up with an exclamation mark.
User setup falls into one of the following matrices:
- Mac computer is connected to the monitor over High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) port.
- The user is using DA300, DA310, or WD19TB dock to connect the computer to the monitor’s HDMI or DisplayPort (DP).
Affected systems
- MacBook Pro 2018, 2019 and 2020
- MacBook Air 2018, 2019 and 2020
- Mac mini 2018
- Mac Pro 2019
Supported Mac Operating System Versions:
- Mac operating system 10.14 or later
