NVP-vProxy FLR Mount fails with "Another task is already in progress"

Summary: The NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) solution is configured with the vProxy Appliance. A file level restore (FLR) is being performed against a virtual machine (VM) in the vSphere environment. The FLR recovery session encounters a failure while mounting the virtual machine disk (.vmdk) files on the target VM. The FLR .vmdk files are not removed from the target VM, and the VM is no longer able to properly start upon reboot. Cause

The target VM is also protected by vSphere Replication Manager. It is not best practice to protect a VM with the NetWorker VMware Protection Solution and another protection product as there could be conflicts.

Resolution

Do not protect the same virtual machine with NetWorker vProxy and any other backup protection product or vSphere replication.
