Chassis Lights on Certain Alienware Laptops and Desktops Stay Off

Symptoms
There are no lights visible anywhere on the chassis or keyboard of your Alienware laptop or desktop. All lighting zones remain off, and even after attempting to adjust the zone settings, the lights do not turn on. Restarting the system or cycling the power does not restore any lighting, nor do the lights activate when the device is disconnected from the power outlet.

Resolution
Ensure that the latest version of Alienware Command Center (AWCC) is installed on your computer.
Follow these steps to resolve the problem:
- Open Alienware Command Center.
- Go to the FX Tab (in the left panel or at the top of the visualization window.)

AlienFX Location - At the top, behind the AlienFX PRESET, change the System Lightning Mode to Go Light.

AlienFX Go Light Change and Go Dark Options - The laptop or desktop lights should turn On.
