Cisco: Poista Single Bit ECC -virheet kirjautumasta Syslogiin

MDS (Multilayer Director Switch) 9700 ja DS-X9448-768K9- tai DS-X9648-1536K9-linjakortti, jossa on korjattavissa oleva ECC-virhe.

Useita ECC 1-bit -virheitä on havaittu kytkimessä kirjauksessa 9700- tai 9396-sarjan kytkimissä:

Vastaukset ovat luonteeltaan informatiivisia, ja viesti voidaan ohittaa, ellei samaa linjakorttia vastaan ole paljon toistuvia virheitä (satoja) muutamassa minuutissa.

Jos samassa linjakortissa on useita toistuvia ECC-virheitä, tämä on tutkittava laitteisto-ongelmana. Lataa tarvittaessa moduuli tai kytkin uudelleen ja vaihda moduuli tai kytkin, jos virheet jatkuvat.

Yhden bitin ECC-virheet eivät ole harvinaisia ja ne ovat korjattavissa.
