Symptoms

Na een upgrade naar iDRAC versie 7.20.60.50 is de knop iSM installeren niet langer zichtbaar op de iSM setup-pagina in de iDRAC GUI. 


In eerdere iDRAC-versies wordt de iSM-installatieknop op de iSM-installatiepagina weergegeven, zoals hieronder wordt weergegeven. 

Cause

Het ontwikkelingsteam heeft de functionaliteit beëindigd die gebruikmaakt van de iDRAC-storagepartitie om het iSM DUP-pakket op te slaan. Deze wijziging is van toepassing vanaf iDRAC-firmwareversie 7.20.60.50 en hoger. De functie wordt niet meer ondersteund in deze versies.

Resolution

Use alternative installation methods for iSM:

    • Installatie op basis van besturingssysteem:
      • Gebruik voor Linux-omgevingen de Dell Linux Repository:
      • Voor Windows-omgevingen gebruikt u OS DUP of Package Manager.
    • Tools voor externe implementatie:
      • OpenManage Enterprise of andere ondersteunde beheeroplossingen.

Controleer bestaande scripts of automatisering om compatibiliteit met bijgewerkte iDRAC-versies te garanderen.
