Che cos è la cartuccia LTO M8?
- I supporti LTO-7 Type M possono essere creati e successivamente riconosciuti mediante l'utilizzo di un'etichetta con codice a barre automatico che termina con gli ultimi due caratteri "M8".
- Solo le cartucce a nastro LTO-7 nuove e non utilizzate possono essere inizializzate come supporti LTO-7 Type M. Una volta inizializzata una cartuccia a nastro come Type M, non può essere cambiata nuovamente in una cartuccia a nastro LTO-7 da 6 TB.
- Una cartuccia a nastro LTO-7 inizializzata come supporto LTO-7 Type M può essere scritta e letta solo in un unità LTO-8.
- Le unità LTO-7 non sono in grado di leggere supporti LTO-7 Type M.
- Le cartucce M8 WORM non sono supportate.

- • Prima di scrivere i dati sulla cartuccia a nastro LTO, è possibile ottimizzare la cartuccia a nastro LTO9 utilizzando le unità LTO 9.
Additional Information
La matrice di compatibilità dei nastri Dell PowerVault sul supporto Dell descrive che tutti i throughput di LTO-7, LTO-8 e LTO-9 sono gli stessi di 300 MB/s, ma la pagina delle cartucce LTO di Dell PowerVault e altri materiali dei fornitori indicano che le unità full-height hanno un throughput più elevato.
