Unable to login to NMC.

Dialogue box shows error: "Unable to Launch the application."

Steps:   
  1. Check if there are multiple Java versions installed on the machine. If yes, keep the latest one and uninstall other Java versions.
  2. From the Java Control Panel, clear Java cache:

  1. Update the JAVA_HOME path in the Environmental Variables of the machine:    
Linux: /nsr/authc/conf/installrc
Windows: System-->Advanced System Settings-->Environment Variables...
  1. Reboot the machine for effective results.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, complete the following:    
  1. Go to Control Panel.
  2. View by: Large Icons.

  1. Click on Java.
  2. In the General tab, click on Network settings.

  1. By default, Use Browser Settings will be selected. Select "Direct Connection".
