Symptoms

Der PowerPath Linux-Host kann keine Verbindung zur PowerPath Management Appliance (PPMA) herstellen, da der PowerPath Management-Service aufgrund des folgenden Fehlers nicht gestartet werden kann:

Cause

Dies ist zurückzuführen auf libjson-c.so.2 Bibliotheken, die nicht auf dem Linux-Host installiert werden.

In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5 json-c wird in der Minimalinstallation nicht standardmäßig installiert und es wird empfohlen, das Paket separat zu installieren.

Resolution

Es wird empfohlen, Folgendes zu installieren: json-c Bibliotheken separat erstellen und den PowerPath Management-Service anschließend starten, wenn der PowerPath Linux-Host zu PPMA hinzugefügt werden kann.
