2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer.

Depending on the model of Latitude computer you have, there are slight differences in how the Hard Drive is removed.

For Latitude E63xx / E64xx / E65xx

1. Remove the two or four screws that secure the hard drive from the computer.

2. Slide the hard drive out of the computer and remove.

3. Grasp the Mylar tab and gently poll it upward to release the hard drive from its compartment.

4. Slide the battery release latch into the unlock position.

1. Remove the battery from the computer.

2. Remove the two screws that secure the bottom back door to the computer base.

3. Remove the bottom back door.

4. Remove the screws securing the hard drive on the Bottom base.

5. Slide the hard drive assembly away from the hard drive connector.

6. Pull the tab to lift and remove the hard drive assembly out of the computer.
