NFS 162 V3 RENAME Reply (Call In 120) Error: NFS3ERR_NOSPC

 

Cause

Filen används, vilket gör att en .nfs-fil skrivs tills filen inte längre används. Eftersom kvoten överskrids går det inte att skriva .nfs-filen. Detta betraktas som ett dumt namnbyte och är något som klienten gör, inte servern.

And fails because the quota is exceeded

Resolution

Vanligtvis körs lsof på klienten identifierar vilken process som har filen öppen. I minst ett fall var det dock CrowdStrike på klienten som skapade .nfs fil men förhindrad lsof från att visa det som öppet. Tillfällig inaktivering av CrowdStrike gjorde att filen kunde tas bort. Om den .nfs Filen visas i paketinsamlingar, vilket bekräftar att en process på klientsidan använder filen, vilket förhindrar att den tas bort när en hård kvot överskrids.

Once the process that has the file in use is stopped the file can then be removed
