  1. Pre-Removal Instructions Before removing the Main Access Panel:

    1. During installation or removal of any hardware always ensure all data is backed up properly

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

    3. Disconnect the computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets

  2. Turn your system onto it's lid and release the seven (7) captive screws that secure the base to the chassis [1].

  1. Use a plastic scribe to pry the base cover starting from the hinges to the top edge of the cover [2] and lift it from the PC.

    2. Disconnect any telephone, network, or USB cables from the computer

  2. Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard [1&2] and remove the three (3) screws securing the battery [3].

  2. Disconnect the keyboard cable from the motherboard [1] and use a plastic scribe to release the keyboard at the threaded holes [2].

  3. Pull the Micro SD Card out of the computer.
