Dell Storage, Compellent: Varning! Installationen av Storage Manager Server misslyckas "Det gick inte att aktivera MPIO"

Symptoms

I Windows Server 2016 anges inte flaggan som anges för att ange om en funktion är aktiverad eller inte förrän efter en omstart. När du kör serverkonfigurationsguiden i Dell Storage Manager visas felmeddelandet nedan eftersom flaggan inte har angetts.  
Det gick inte att aktivera MPIO på den lokala värden

Cause

Flaggan är inte inställd.

Resolution

Alternativ lösning:
  1. Installera MPIO på system som kör Windows Server 2016.
  2. Starta om servern.
  3. Verifiera att MPIO har installerats med hjälp av antingen:
  • Köra PowerShell-kommandot:
get-windowsfeature multipath-io
Installationsläget måste visas som "Installerat".
  • söka efter MPIO via Kontrollpanelen i Windows
  1. Använd Dell Storage Manager och kör guiden för serverkonfiguration. 
  2. Om du stöter på ovanstående fel startar du om servern och kör guiden igen.

Resolution:
Korrigeringen finns i uppdateringen från mars 2018 3B-paketet KB 4088787 (som är ett kumulativt paket).
