Note:
  • Some affected platforms are supported if they have a 2-in-1 chassis. The same affected platforms may not be supported if they do not have a 2-in-1 chassis.
  • ChromeOS does not support Bluetooth pairing with Dell active pens.
  • A Precision 5470 is affected with a quad high definition (QHD+) display only. A full high definition (FHD+) display is not compatible with Dell active pens.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, try the following:

  • For the Dell Pro Plus Active Pen PN5122W: Reinstall the battery.
  • For the Dell Pro Premium Active Pen PN7522W: Connect the charging cable.
  • Both Dell Pro Premium Active Pen PN7522W and Dell Pro Plus Active Pen PN5122W pens can recover from disconnection automatically within 10 minutes.
  • If the issue persists frequently, contact Dell Technical Support for further assistance.
