Device Manager may display a yellow warning icon on a device with ACPIDELL00332&DABA3FF&0 Device instance path.

Cause

No cause information is available.

Resolution

No manual steps are needed. The yellow exclamation mark clears automatically once Windows installs the required update.

To ensure that you receive updates when they are available:

  • Go to Windows Update, Advanced Options, then turn on Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available.

After this setting is enabled, Windows automatically installs the update when it becomes available so no further action is required.

If the yellow mark remains after a reboot, allow time for Windows Update to complete. Additional reboots are not necessary. DCSD retries the installation once every 24 hours.

Note: Do not uninstall the device or install drivers from other sources. The yellow exclamation mark does not indicate a problem and does not affect the computer performance. This is an automatic re-install process that your computer updates automatically.
