Avamar: Jak spustit nástroj iperf mezi dvěma mřížkami Avamar za účelem otestování výkonu propustnosti sítě

1. Přihlaste se k první mřížce Avamar ("iperf server") jako správce a spusťte následující příkaz: 

iperf3 -s -i 1 

2. Výše uvedený příkaz ponechte spuštěný.

3. Přihlaste se do druhé mřížky Avamar jako ("iperf klienta") a spusťte následující příkaz:

iperf3 -c <avamar-source-iperf-server> A -i 1

4. Nechte příkaz běžet 10 sekund a ukončete klávesou CTRL-C.

Při spouštění testů na softwaru Avamar může dojít k pokusu o připojení, pokud brána firewall (avfirewall) je spuštěna:

admin@ave-cow:~/>: iperf3 -c ave-moo -i 1

connect failed: Connection timed out

Pokud k tomu dojde, dočasně zakažte bránu firewall v obou mřížkách Avamar:

Chcete-li zastavit službu firewall, spusťte následující příkaz jako uživatel root:

systemctl stop avfirewall 

Chcete-li restartovat službu brány firewall, spusťte následující příkaz jako uživatel root:

systemctl start avfirewall
