  1. Open op de NetWorker-server een root-shell (Linux) of Administrator-opdrachtprompt (Windows):
  2. Maak het REST API-gebruikersaccount met behulp van de volgende opdrachtsyntaxis:

Voor NetWorker Administrator-rechten voert u de volgende opdracht uit:

OPMERKING: Sommige Windows-systemen hebben curl geïnstalleerd en de opdracht kan ook worden uitgevoerd vanaf de Windows-opdrachtprompt. De REST-URL kan ook in een webbrowser worden opgegeven.

Als u niet wilt dat het gebruikerswachtwoord van de REST API elke 90 dagen verloopt (standaard), volgt u: NetWorker: Het verlopen van wachtwoorden uitschakelen voor NetWorker-accounts.

Als er meerdere NetWorker-servers bestaan, herhaalt u dit proces op elke server om ervoor te zorgen dat de lokale REST API-gebruiker consistent blijft in de datazone. Als u één NetWorker-verificatieserver gebruikt op de locatie waar de gebruiker is gemaakt, voegt u een extra header toe aan de REST API-functies voor de juiste verificatie. Hiermee wordt de functie REST API geïnstrueerd om te verifiëren met behulp van de NetWorker-verificatieserver die in de header is gedefinieerd.
