Symptoms

Il backup del file system non riesce per il saveset del ripristino di emergenza, ma funziona per le unità locali in un cluster a due nodi.

Ambiente:
client Windows Server 2019 con pacchetto client NetWorker 19.x installato

Cause

Errore:

99128:save:Disaster Recovery: critical volume C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1\ identified for disaster recovery backup has been created on a CSV volume. Backup of critical volume on CSV volume is not supported.

Ciò significa che alcune applicazioni sono installate su CSV, pertanto il CSV viene considerato come unità critica.

save -o VSS:LCV=yes non deve elencare il CSV come volume critico sui nodi fisici. Se CSV è elencato come critico, il backup DR non riesce. Nell'output riportato di seguito (consultare la sezione Note), vedere che il CSV è elencato come critico in un nodo e in un altro nodi non lo è.

Nota: NetWorker supporta i backup CSV con le seguenti limitazioni:
  • Il volume non può essere un volume critico.
  • NetWorker non può eseguire la copia shadow di un file CSV e di dischi locali che si trovano nello stesso set di copie shadow del volume.

 

Resolution

Rimuovere l'applicazione installata dal CSV.

 

Additional Information

L'output proviene da uno dei nodi del cluster. In questo modo il file CSV viene visualizzato come volume critico e quindi il backup funziona per C:\ e ha esito negativo per il saveset DR da questo nodo.
