問題

SyncIQ 仰賴正確設定的 DNS。若 DNS 未正確設定，SyncIQ 原則可能無法執行。

症狀

/var/log/isi_migrate.log 檔案中會顯示類似以下內容的訊息：

isi_migrate[10861]: coord[siqtest]:

5 nodes on target available: 1)10.1.215.1 2)10.1.215.2 3)10.1.215.3 4)10.1.215.4 5)10.1.215.6
....
isi_migrate[18315]: primary[siqtest]: Failed to connect to target worker 0 (10.1.215.6): connect failed: Operation timed out

Cause

原因

當 SyncIQ 原則設定為以 SmartConnect 區域名稱為目標時，SyncIQ 會連線至該區域中的節點。當原則開始執行時，來源和目標叢集會傳達可用節點的清單。當 DNS 未正確設定為 Isilon 叢集的目標 SmartConnect 區域名稱的委派項目時，SyncIQ 原則將無法執行。

解決方案

請執行下列步驟：

  1. 在叢集的任何節點上開啟 SSH 連線，然後使用「root」帳戶登入。
  2. 執行 nslookup 命令，其中 <目標 IP> 是來源叢集 上isi_migrate.log 中識別的 IP 位址： 
    nslookup <target IP>
    例如： 
    nslookup 10.1.215.2

    將顯示類似於以下內容的輸出： 
    2.215.1.10.in-addr.arpa   name = cluster01-2.lab.example.com.
2.215.1.10.in-addr.arpa   name = cluster02-2.lab.example.com.
    在上面的範例中，為同一IP位址返回兩個不同的名稱。
     
  3. 執行下列命令，更正任何不正確的 DNS SmartConnect 區域名稱，其中 <policy_name> 是 SyncIQ 原則和 <ip_fqdn> is 目標集群的 IP 位址或完全限定功能變數名稱 （FQDN）。 
    isi sync policies modify --target-host=<ip_fqdn> <policy_name>
