Symptoms

La integración de NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) se configura con el dispositivo vProxy.  La acción de respaldo de VMware no se puede ejecutar, lo que indica que el servicio de vCenter no está disponible. El registro de acciones de respaldo o NetWorker Management Console (NMC) muestra lo siguiente:

La actualización de NMC VMware View también genera el siguiente error emergente:

Cause

El servicio vCenter Server (VPXD) no está en ejecución ni responde en vCenter Server. La solución NetWorker VMware Protection requiere comunicación con el servicio VPXD cuando se inicia el flujo de trabajo de respaldo o se actualiza NMC VMware View.

Resolution

El servicio VPXD se debe iniciar o volver a iniciar en vCenter Server. Consulte:
Si hay problemas para iniciar el servicio o aún no responde, se debe comunicarse con el soporte de VMware para resolver el síntoma del servicio VPXD.
