激活 Dell Encryption（以前称为 Dell Data Protection |针对 Dell Security Management Server 或 Dell Security Management Server Virtual（以前称为 Dell Data Protection |Virtual Edition）。如果产品超出可用许可证数量，则不允许激活未来的客户端。服务器允许以下许可证超额：
- v7.0.X - v7.5.X 服务器：10% 超额使用
- v8.0.X 及更高版本的服务器：5% 超额使用
提醒：
- 5% 超额使用示例：客户 A 为产品 B 购买并安装了 100 个许可证。这允许客户 A 使用产品 B 软件激活最多 105 台计算机。
- 设备错误地激活为 Windows：Credant Edition （而非 Windows）：戴尔版本，显示 Windows：Credant Edition 许可证使用在 7.2.3 shield 中已修复。将客户端更新到更高版本并运行
WSDeactivate自动解决此差异。
当服务器的许可证不足时，将会显示控制面板通知。
