Unprotected Endpoints in Compliance Reporter After Upgrading to Dell Security Management Server

Cause
Customers have reported a noticeable increase in the number of unprotected endpoints, after upgrading the Dell Security Management Server, when running the applicable report (for example Shield Detail).
Resolution
The product is working as expected:
The Dell Security Management Server includes changes that affect the Compliance Reporter’s unprotected endpoint results.
- A defect was resolved where endpoints that reached device lease expiration date were not properly being set to removed.
- Removed endpoints are now counted as unprotected endpoints. As a result, customers may see a large increase in unprotected endpoints using Compliance Reporter.
