OptiPlex 7050 USB Type-C port specifications
The OptiPlex 7050 desktop includes one USB Type-C port on the front panel of the chassis (Figure 1). This port offers high-speed data connectivity but does not support USB 3.1, DisplayPort over USB, or Thunderbolt devices. You may also see this port referred to as a USB 3.1 Gen 1 port, replacing the previous classification of the USB 3.0 or SuperSpeed port.
