Dell Self-Encrypting Drive Managerを使用してエンドポイントでPBAをアクティブ化できない

影響を受けるバージョン:

• v8.17.0から8.18.1

インストール ログにエラーは報告されませんが、インストール後にPBAをアクティブ化できません EMEAgent script.

の使用エンドポイントのシステム イベント ビューアーを確認すると、起動時に次のエラーが表示される可能性があります。

Error 8/15/2018 10:02:40 AM Service Control Manager 7000 None
The DellMgmtLoader service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

エンドポイントのPBAログを確認すると、次のエラーが表示される可能性があります。

しかし、 DellSEDProxy.dll C:Program FilesDELLDell Data ProtectionClient Security Frameworkパスに存在し、インストールされているディスクがOpalドライブである

の Procmon ブートログでは、 DellMgmtLoader サービスを開始しようとしています:

ただし、Microsoft Visual C++ DLL VCRUNTIME140.dllを見つけることができません。

必要なMicrosoft Visual C++をインストールし、KB記事「 Dell Data Securityマスター インストーラーから子インストーラーを抽出する方法」に従って、マスター インストーラーから抽出したEMAgent_XXbit_setup.exeを実行します

または、最新のMicrosoft Visual C++再頒布可能パッケージをMicrosoftから直接ダウンロードすることもできます (Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads.

およびx64エンドポイントでは、EMAgent_XXbit_setup.exeはMicrosoft Visual C++ x64およびx86をインストールします
