PBA kan niet worden geactiveerd op eindpunten met Dell Self-Encrypting Drive Manager

Niet van toepassing

Er wordt geen fout gemeld in de installatielogboeken, maar de PBA wordt niet geactiveerd na het installeren van de EMEAgent met behulp van script.

Bij het controleren van de systeemlogboeken op het eindpunt is het mogelijk om de onderstaande fout te zien tijdens het opstarten:

Bij het controleren van de PBA-logboeken op het eindpunt is het mogelijk om de onderstaande fout te zien:

Maar, de DellSEDProxy.dll is aanwezig in het pad C:Program FilesDELLDell Data ProtectionClient Security Framework en de geïnstalleerde schijf is een Opal-schijf.

In het Procmon opstartlogboeken is het mogelijk om te zien dat de DellMgmtLoader Service probeert te starten:

De Microsoft Visual C++ DLL VCRUNTIME140.dll kan echter niet worden gevonden:

Installeer de vereiste Microsoft Visual C++ en voer de EMAgent_XXbit_setup.exe uit het hoofdinstallatieprogramma uit zoals beschreven in het KB-artikel Onderliggende installatieprogramma's uitpakken vanuit het hoofdinstallatieprogramma van Dell Data Security.

Als alternatief kunt u de nieuwste Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable pakketten rechtstreeks van Microsoft downloaden op Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable nieuwste ondersteunde downloads.

Op en x64-eindpunt installeert de EMAgent_XXbit_setup.exe de Microsoft Visual C++ x64 en x86.
