  1. apt-get update

  2. apt-get upgrade

  3. Run the Dell Recovery Tool to recover the original image from the hard drive

  4. apt-get update

  5. apt-get upgrade

  6. Once the upgrade completes, run the Dell Recovery Tool again to create recovery media (optional)
