Aquantia NICカードを使用しているワークステーションでは、特定のケースにおいて、レガシー起動モード中に一部のオプションROMをロードできない場合があります。Aquantia 2.5G/5G NICカードのバージョンA02(DPN#s: PPT48、8YMW6) では、レガシー オプション ROM のサイズが 6 KB から 42 KB に増加しています。

Cause
レガシーBIOSモードでは、オプションROMをロードするためのメモリー容量が限られています。ロードするオプションROMの合計がレガシーBIOSのメモリー制限を超えると、追加のオプションROMをロードできなくなります。このため、Aquantia NICカードを使用すると、一部のオプションROMがレガシー起動モードでロードされない場合があります。
Resolution
回避策：
- レガシー モードではなくUEFI起動モードを使用します。
