A step by step guide to the Factory Restore Process


  1. Start your PC.

  2. For Windows Vista and Windows 7 tap the F8 key as the computer starts, until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen and carry on through the remaining steps.

  3. If these steps do not work for you, please see section 1 question 1 again. Otherwise continue with this guide.


  1. Press the DOWN ARROW cursor key to select Repair Your Computer on the Advanced Boot Options menu and then press the ENTER key.

  2. Specify the language settings that you want and then click Next.

  3. Click Next. The computer is restored to the way it shipped.

  4. When the restore operation is completed click Finish to restart the computer.
