Symptoms

Wanneer u probeert te controleren op aanbevolen proxy's, meldt de Proxy Deployment Manager van Avamar een bericht:

"Aanmelden mislukt door ongeldige referenties of vcenter"

Cause

In het VCS Connection Manager-logboek "/usr/local/avamar/var/log/vcs/connectionmanager.log", wordt de volgende fout weergegeven:

Resolution

Procedure:   
  1. Controleer of poort 443 open is (van Avamar) naar de vCenter-hosts met behulp van telnet of curl.
Raadpleeg voor meer informatie over vereiste datapoorten de VMware-gebruikershandleiding (zie pagina 106 in de versie 106). 7.3 handleiding)

  1. Start Apache Tomcat opnieuw als hoofdgebruiker van het besturingssysteem
emwebapp.sh --stop

emwebapp.sh --start 


De proxy-implementatiemanager zou de fout niet langer moeten melden.
