PowerEdge: Päivittäminen ESXi 7.0:aan aiemmasta ESXi-versiosta epäonnistuu ja tuloksena on vmkapi DependencyError

Dell PowerEdge -palvelimet, jotka päivittävät VMware ESXi 6.7- tai 6.5-versiosta VMware ESXi 7.0 -versioon, saattavat epäonnistua vmkapi DependancyError vanhempien ohjainten vuoksi vmkapi ESXi 7.0 -versiosta vanhentuneet versioriippuvuudet.

Tämä ongelma johtuu siitä, että ohjaimet on koottu vanhempiin vmkapi versioriippuvuudet, jotka ovat vanhentuneet ESXi 7.0 -versiosta alkaen. Niiden ajurien luettelo, joita ongelma koskee, on vmkapi-version poistaminen ja asentaminen / päivittäminen ESXi 7.0:ssa (78389).

Dell ei suosittele yrittämään ESXi 7.0 -päivitystä Dellin mukautetun ISO-näköistiedoston A00- tai A01-versiolla. Jos päivitysongelma ilmenee etkä voi palata aikaisempaan 6.x-asennukseen tai et pysty tekemään uutta ESXi 7.0 -asennusta, ota yhteyttä Dellin tekniseen tukeen.

Päivityksissä on käytettävä Dellin mukauttamia ISO-versioita A02 tai uudempia, koska vanhemmissa versioissa ilmenneet ongelmat on ratkaistu.
