受影響的產品：

  • Dell EMC OpenManage Server Administrator （OMSA） 9.4.0 之前版本
  • VMware ESXi 7.0 或更新版本



問題：

  • OMSA 9.4.0 及更舊版本不支援 VMware ESXi 7.0 或更新版本，因此無法安裝。
  • 僅 VMware ESXi 6.5 和 6.7 支援 OMSA 9.4.0 版。
  • 先前最高 9.3.1 的 OMSA 版本無法防止在 VMware ESXi 7.0 上安裝，但亦不受支援。
  • 使用不受支援的 OMSA 版本將 VMware ESXi 6.x 升級至 7.0 會導致 OMSA 服務無法運作，而且可能會回報 ESXi 升級錯誤。

Cause

VMware ESXi 7.0 CIM Server （SFCB） 服務需要 64 位元供應商。OMSA 9.4.0 及較早版本為 32 位元供應商，符合 VMware ESXi 6.7 和更舊版本的需求。

Resolution

  1. OMSA 9.5.0 （最低版本） 將支援 VMware ESXi 7.0，預計在 2020 年下半年發佈。

  2. 或者，使用 iDRAC 作為 OMSA 的替代品。iDRAC 提供的監控功能與 OMSA 類似，且獨立於作業系統。

  3. 若要將 VMware ESXi 6.x 升級至 7.0，請先解除安裝 OMSA 9.4.0 （或更舊版本），再從 ESXi 6.x 升級至 7.0。
