Symptoms

  • 使用完整主機名稱 （FQDN） 新增至 vCenter 的 ESXi 主機。
example:esxi-01.xxxxx.com 
  • 新增服務或新增現有服務。 
  • 使用 PowerFlex Manager 啟動 RCM 升級時，相較於 vCenter 清查中的 ESXi 主機名稱，PowerFlex Manager 會在服務中看到較短的 ESXi 主機名稱。 
  • PowerFlex Manager 無法與名稱相符，因此失敗並顯示下列錯誤。

Cause

1.ESXi 主機會使用完整主機名稱新增至 vCenter。
2.PowerFlex Manager 會在服務和清查中看到最短的主機名稱。deployment.json檔案會在名為 esx_hostname 的欄位中註冊短主機名稱。
3.PowerFlex Manager 會檢查 vCenter 是否與esx_hostname欄位完全相符，但找不到該欄位，因為 vCenter 只能顯示 FQDN。
4.出現錯誤並停止升級。

Resolution

選項 1：
升級至最新的 PFxM 版本 3.7 或更新版本以取得修正。

選項 2： 
  1. 在 PowerFlex Manager 的服務窗格中，選取 服務 > ，按一下從 PowerFlex Manager 移除 服務。  
  2. 在 PowerFlex Manager 的>設定網路>底下，選取網路類型，Hypervisor 管理>，再按一下編輯。在 DNS 尾碼下，移除 DNS 尾碼>，按一下儲存。 
  3. 重新執行清查，並等待成功。 
  4. 將服務添加回現有服務。 
  5. 當服務重新新增並顯示為綠色後，請繼續進行 RCM 升級。
